What I am going to share here is gonna change that! I’m gonna show you how to make great burgers at home in simple steps. The secret to it is the sauce. The meat patty are usually greasy and juicy which they should be but we need something to help cut through the fat! We use our OG dressing that has a creamy sesame flavour and the secret pickle taste from organically fermented green tea leaves. It goes so well with any patty choice of yours and dinner is ready in 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Half an onion

Few slices of tomato from Gateway Market

Pickles

Lettuce from Mooroolbarkfresh

Ground meat patty from 32.acres butcher at Woori Yallock

2 slices of cheese

Original Burmese Salad Dressing ( OG from @rangoonsunrise  ) as the burger sauce

Burger bun

This recipe is all started when I saw juciy patties at the butcher in Worri Yallock. You can check them out here. I always love a good burger with juicy meat but it has to pair with something to cut the greasiness of the meat. Today in this recipe, I used OG Burmese Salad Dressing to highlight the pickle taste from the fermeted tea leaves. There you go, I have said the secret to get a good burger, balance between fat and pickle. The beautiful tomatoes from the recipe are also from our local grocer, Gateway Market , Coldstream. They also carry our full range of Rangoon Sunrise. Lettuce is from Mooroolbark Fresh. With no further due, here is the recipe.

Recipe

Chop up the onion and fry on a medium heat until golden. Put it aside and add meat patty of your choice, cook to your taste, I prefer about 4 min on one side, flip add the cheese slices on top and a few minutes until the cheese melts, yum! Slice up some tomato and pickles. Then build your burger making sure to add MORE dressing to the bun and on the layer with tomato for extra flavour!
